About the Society

The European Chinese Society for Clinical Magnetic Resonance was founded in 1991 with the aim to increase the exchange of information about the clinical use of MR between Europe and China. The Society performs the following activities

- organisation of meetings and workshops.
- establish contacts between groups in Europe and China for further collaboration.
- acquisition and distribution of books, syllabi, journals etc. in the field of MR tomography

In the first years after foundation, ECSCMR organized several meetings and workshops (s. meetings). With the increased progress and proliferation of MR in China, ECSCMR more and more switched to joining already existing meetings and/or send speakers and delegates to meetings on pertinent topics.
