The European Chinese Society for Clinical Magnetic Resonance (ECSCMR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the exchange of knowledge about the application of magnetic resonance tomography.
This webpage gives information
about activities pertinent to the goals of the Society. If there is anything
you want to add to our site (meeting announcements, search for cooperation
partners etc.), please contact us via the e-mail adress
If you have comments or suggestions, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
The European Chinese
Society for Clinical Magnetic Resonance was founded in 1991 with the aim to
increase the exchange of information about the clinical use of MR between
Europe and China. The Society performs the following activities
- organisation of meetings and workshops.<
- acquisition and distribution of books, syllabi, journals etc. in the field of MR tomography
- establish contacts between groups in Europe and China for further collaboration.
The Society is open for membership to anybody supportive to and interested in its activities. Memebership is free. For further information please contact Prof. Jürgen Hennig (see people) fur further information.
The society has a two-tier
structure with leading bodies both in Europe and China. The current officers of the Society are

features of current MR-systems (fast gradients, phased array coils (spine) used
in neuroradiological diagnosis
- New areas of application for Neuro-MR.
- Status of Diffusion-MR.
- Role of MRS in neuroradiological diagnosis.
function of our Society is to establish contacts between institutes in Europe
and China for further cooperation. If you are interested in such an exchange,
